this garlic and onion thing has me confused
I swear, every time I scroll through health tips, there’s something new that’s supposed to be the “magic bullet” for whatever’s ailing you. Today, it’s all about some ‘natural bomb’ for cleansing the liver and blood vessels. And guess what? It involves garlic and onions. Seriously. Garlic and onions. Two things that have been in everybody’s kitchen since the dawn of time. Who knew, right?

So, they’re saying garlic and onions pack some insane punch when it comes to detoxifying your liver and sprucing up those blood vessels. I mean, I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with these two. Onions make me cry like I’m in some tragic rom-com, and garlic lingers on my breath like it’s paying rent. But apparently, these pungent little guys are secretly out here doing superhero work.
I get the whole liver cleansing thing, sort of. Your liver is like your body’s janitor, sweeping away toxins while we inhale all sorts of questionable stuff. And maybe, just maybe, garlic and onions are the broom and dustpan in this bizarre analogy. Though, it does make me wonder; if they are so potent, why didn’t someone tell us to chomp on these instead of selling us those sketchy liver detox teas?
Before you roll your eyes and say “Yeah, right,” I saw this collection of health hacks and it’s full of gems like these. It’s an endless buffet of ‘must try’ concoctions, right up there with juice cleanses and drinking charcoal (yes, people actually do that).

Anyway, I’m not discouraging anyone who wants to embark on this aromatic journey to inner cleanliness. But if you ask me, nothing says “I care about my internal organs” more than a plate of roasted garlic bread, a hot bowl of French onion soup, and a good Netflix binge. Who knows, maybe all this time we’ve been accidentally healthy, right?
This whole craze over mundane ingredients just amuses me. It’s like the world suddenly discovered these kitchen staples aren’t just there to make you cry or ward off vampires. But hey, what do I know? I’m just over here with tears in my eyes and garlic on my breath, wondering if I’m doing this right or just going to smell like a salad bar all day. My eyes still hurt. I need coffee. Ugh.
